WHAT WE TREAT
Tennis Elbow and Golfer’s Elbow
Elbow pain can make everyday tasks difficult, including lifting, gripping, typing, carrying, or pouring a cup of tea. Two of the most common causes are tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow, and despite their names, you do not need to play either sport to develop them.
At our clinic, we take a thorough, strength-based approach to elbow rehabilitation, helping you reduce pain, restore function, and get back to the activities you enjoy.
Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylalgia)
This condition affects the tendons on the outside of the elbow. It’s usually caused by repetitive gripping, lifting, or loading of the forearm muscles.
Common symptoms include pain with lifting objects, shaking hands, opening jars, or using a keyboard or mouse for long periods.
We use progressive strengthening and load management to help the tendon adapt and recover.
Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylalgia)
Golfer’s elbow affects the tendons on the inside of the elbow and is often triggered by repetitive wrist flexion or gripping activities.
This may cause pain when carrying bags, lifting weights, or performing pulling or gripping tasks.
Our rehabilitation focuses on restoring tendon strength and improving movement patterns to reduce irritation.
