No, you don’t need a referral to see a physiotherapist — you can book an appointment with us directly. However, if you plan to claim through your health insurance, some providers may require a referral from your GP or consultant. We recommend checking with your insurer before your appointment.

Yes, we accept most major private health insurance providers, including Bupa, AXA and WPA. To process your claim, we’ll need your membership number and authorisation code, so please have these ready when booking your physiotherapy appointment. As requirements can vary between insurers, we recommend checking directly with your provider before attending.

Yes, we offer same-day appointments when availability allows. Please contact us as early as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

At your first appointment, your therapist will take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, and personal goals. You’ll receive a thorough assessment tailored to your chosen treatment, whether that’s physiotherapy, massage therapy, or craniosacral therapy. Treatment will begin during your first session, and a personalised plan will be created to support your recovery and overall wellbeing.

Appointment lengths vary depending on the treatment and your individual needs. Initial Physiotherapy range from 45 to 60 minutes and follow ups range between 30 and 60 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise on the most appropriate session length for you.
Massage and craniosacral appointments are typically 60 minutes.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. You may be asked to expose the area being treated, so loose-fitting or sportswear is ideal. For shoulder assessments, a vest top is recommended if you prefer not to be in a bra, and for knee examinations, shorts are advised. Towels are provided where needed.

For massage therapy, the area being treated will need to be exposed. Your therapist will leave the room to allow you to undress down to your underwear in privacy and to cover yourself with a towel.

For craniosacral therapy, you remain fully clothed; however, we recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to allow you to relax fully during treatment.

Yes, we treat a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, work-related injuries, and long-standing pain conditions. Your therapist will tailor your treatment plan to your specific goals and recovery stage.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or changes. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
