Paula Lee

Senior Massage Therapist, Advanced Remedial and Sports Massage and CORE Practitioner

An aromatherapy kit, gifted to Paula when she was just 15, sparked a lifelong passion for natural health and wellbeing. Although aromatherapy was her starting point, her curiosity soon led her down many different therapeutic paths — too many qualifications calling her name for her to stay in just one lane.

Paula qualified in Swedish Massage at age 20 and has continued building her expertise ever since. Over the years, she has trained in on-site workplace massage, remedial and sports massage, sports event massage, advanced remedial massage, kinesio taping, CORE fascial release, Chinese cupping, hot stone therapy, and infant massage instruction. She is also a qualified nutritional advisor, a meditation instructor, and a proud member of the Scottish Manual Therapists Organisation.

Since beginning her career in 2008, Paula has worked with a wide range of clients — from office workers to professional athletes. She spent two seasons with Heart of Midlothian Football Club’s first team, providing game-day and recovery massage. In 2023, she supported athletes at a tennis event featuring legendary players, earning wonderful feedback from Judy Murray.

Paula’s treatments are often a blend of remedial “find it, treat it” work and restorative relaxation. She frequently incorporates CORE fascial release or structural correction techniques, and her favourite modalities include myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, and pin-and-stretch. Drawing from her extensive training, she creates bespoke sessions tailored to each person’s unique needs.

Connection is at the heart of Paula’s work. She has a deep interest in people and says her favourite part of the job is building meaningful rapport with clients. Highly attuned to the energy someone brings into the room, she instinctively adapts the treatment environment to support them best.

Corporate massage is another area where Paula shines. With over 12 years of experience working in corporate settings, she loves the dynamic, efficient nature of workplace treatments — while equally appreciating the slow, collaborative rhythm of CORE fascial release sessions.

Nutrition is one of Paula’s personal passions, especially when it comes to supporting natural health. She’s a true lover of green vegetables (even if not everyone shares the sentiment!) and enjoys challenging herself to include as many as possible — always aiming for 10 different veggies in a dish when she can.
