Katie Reilly BSc (Hons) MCPod


Katie graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Podiatry from Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to training in Podiatry she obtained a Bachelor of Science with Merit in Sports Science from the University of Glasgow. Since qualifying as a Podiatrist Katie has worked in both the NHS and in private clinics, working within a number of specialists areas in this time including; Biomechanics, Diabetes, Rheumatoid arthritis and wound care.

Katie has a special interest in injuries of the foot and ankle. She has also completed Masters level modules with Musculoskeletal focus at the University of Dundee. She has a keen interest in sport, primarily football, and has previously captained Scottish Women’s Premier League side Spartans FC which are based in Edinburgh. She has represented Scotland at under 17 and under 19 levels and has played in the SWPL for Spartans.

Katie specialises in sports injuries, musculoskeletal issues (MSK) and biomechanics as well as offering general footcare services. Her experience as a sportswoman drives her passion for her podiatric care and she incorporates this into her treatments.

Katie is registered as a Podiatrist with the Health & Care Professions Council, a government led organisation which regulates the Allied Health Professions. She is also a member of The College of Podiatry.
